Translation:
Immortal by the River
The bamboo path echoes with yellow leaves,
White clouds give birth to evening shades of green.
A gentle breeze brushes the reclusive monk,
Night silence grants clarity of mind.
Returning birds' songs cannot be heard,
Lotus boats, hard to find delight.
Drizzling rain breaks in fragments,
Dusk river gradually turns serene.
Alongside the shore, hear kitchen smoke,
Crossing the hill, find the returning path.
Bright moon shines on the tall tree,
Time and again, stirring my emotions.
Returning home, alone, found prolonged sight,
Sorrowful weariness, yet breezes light.
With no worries, I leisurely drift,
Still yearning for beloved, tranquil and right.
