Huò Qùbīng (140 BC – 117 BC), also known as Huo Guang, was a prominent general, statesman, and regent in ancient China. He played a key role in the transition from the Western Han Dynasty to the Xin Dynasty and later became the regent for Emperor Wu of Han. As a military leader, Huo achieved numerous victories against external threats, including the Xiongnu, and was known for his strategic acumen. He is considered one of the most influential figures in Chinese history.
